The Maison des Élèves welcomes different audiences throughout the year according to a specific availability calendar:
- Priority audiences
Students in the ISMIN cycle at Mines Saint-Étienne. - Secondary audiences (subject to availability)
Students from other schools doing an internship in local companies, non-EMSE students, and people in short-term training.

- 🔴 Red Period (August to March) – Very high demand
Housing reserved almost exclusively for priority audiences for the start of the academic year. - 🟡 Orange Period (April) – Medium demand
Some opportunities as housing becomes available (departures for internships abroad). - 🟢 Green Period (May to July) – High availability
Ideal period to welcome interns from local companies, short stays, and non-EMSE students.

All our housing is government-regulated, which allows access to CAF housing assistance (APL). Direct management by the school greatly simplifies your administrative procedures.

👤 Who benefits from the Preferential Rate?
The following categories of people are automatically eligible for the preferential rate:
- Students enrolled in one of the degrees at Mines Saint-Étienne, under student status or employee status (notably ISMIN, ICM, SEE, GIN, GI, VE, Master of Science in Engineering, PhD students, etc.).
- Students from another entity of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT).
- Staff members of Mines Saint-Étienne or those seconded to the school.
- Staff members of another entity of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT).
- Any other person upon individual decision by the director of the Aix-Marseille-Provence campus.
