Organizes and oversees intellectual property for the school
Participates and plans many structural meetings
Teaches renewable energy (esp. photovoltaics)
Helps individual researchers with Patenting & Intellectual Property Strategic Planing - Skills

Intellectual Property - Biography
Daniel Ochoa came at the Ecole des Mines Georges Charpak Provence Campus in 2009, as deputy director of innovation and development. Previously, he had worked at the French Consulate in San Francisco (USA) as Scientific Attaché. Aside from the diplomatic and political part, his missions were mainly focused on establishing academic and industrial collaborations between French and American entities (mainly research centers and universities) in the fields of IT and Cleantechs Deputy Director Ochoa has an excellent scientific background in physics and optoelectronics. He is well regarded by has helped his colleagues well. His renewable energy teaching is very appreciated by our students

Graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau), X91, and Mines Paristech as Engineer from the ‘Corps Techniques de l’Etat’ (Corps des Mines).
PhD from EPFL in optoelectronics and semiconductor physics
post-doc at La Sapienza University in Rome
2014 Obtained the CAPI (Certificat d’animateur de la Propriété Intellectuelle) from INPI.
