Les supraconducteurs \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature critique (HTS) \u00e0 base d\u2019oxydes mixtes de baryum, de cuivre et de terres rares (REBCO) sont des mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 ultra-hautes performances capables de relever des d\u00e9fis soci\u00e9taux et environnementaux. Sous forme d\u2019aimants, ils produisent de tr\u00e8s hauts champs magn\u00e9tiques \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature (&gt; 20 T \u00e0 ~ -269 \u00b0C) et des champs plus mod\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures compatibles avec l\u2019azote liquide industriel (&lt; 2 T \u00e0 ~ -196 \u00b0C), permettant leur int\u00e9gration dans diverses applications : la fusion nucl\u00e9aire, les moteurs \u00e9lectriques, l\u2019imagerie m\u00e9dicale, les c\u00e2bles de transmission d\u2019\u00e9nergie, les grands instruments, parmi d\u2019autres. Le projet MARS vise \u00e0 caract\u00e9riser le comportement m\u00e9canique des couches individuelles des HTS-REBCO \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de leur \u00e9paisseur, de leurs interfaces et \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures cryog\u00e9niques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des essais microm\u00e9caniques in situ MEB (nanoindentation, compression de micropiliers, flexion de micropoutres, \u2026). Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques locales obtenues seront corr\u00e9l\u00e9es \u00e0 la microstructure et aux performances fonctionnelles, puis int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans des mod\u00e8les multi-\u00e9chelles afin d\u2019obtenir la meilleure description possible du comportement structurel macroscopique du ruban \u00e0 partir de ses constituants microscopiques.
