Cependant, les essais microm\u00e9caniques \u00e0 haute vitesse de d\u00e9formation ont longtemps \u00e9t\u00e9 limit\u00e9s en raison des d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement de dispositifs exp\u00e9rimentaux adapt\u00e9s et des difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es lors de la r\u00e9alisation de ce type d&#8217;essais .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 subdivis\u00e9 en deux parties principales. Dans la premi\u00e8re partie, la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la vitesse de d\u00e9formation des monocristaux de cuivre et de fer a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9e suite au d\u00e9veloppement du dispositif exp\u00e9rimental. Les esssais de compression de micropiliers sur plusieurs ordres de grandeur de vitesse&nbsp;de d\u00e9formation ont montr\u00e9 que la limite d&#8217;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 de tous les mat\u00e9riaux augmente avec l&#8217;augmentation de la vitesse&nbsp;de d\u00e9formation. En utilisant un mod\u00e8le analytique de pr\u00e9diction des vitesses de dislocations, l&#8217;\u00e9volution de la limite d&#8217;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 avec la vitesse de d\u00e9formation a \u00e9t\u00e9 abord\u00e9e dans le cas du cuivre, et la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la vitesse de&nbsp;d\u00e9formation du mat\u00e9riau a \u00e9t\u00e9 caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re continue sur toute la gamme de vitesse de d\u00e9formation explor\u00e9e. Ce travail met en lumi\u00e8re des aspects importants concernant l&#8217;influence du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de drag sur la mobilit\u00e9 collective des dislocations en fonction de l&#8217;\u00e9chelle consid\u00e9r\u00e9e. La sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0&nbsp;la vitesse de d\u00e9formation d\u00e9pendante de l&#8217;orientation cristalline a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9e pour le cuivre et le fer en consid\u00e9rant deux orientations diff\u00e9rentes. De plus, la simulation de la dynamique discr\u00e8te des dislocations en 3D a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place pour le cuivre. Les r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que contrairement \u00e0 ce qui est observ\u00e9 dans les \u00e9chantillons macroscopiques, \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle microscopique, le r\u00e9gime de pure drag de la mobilit\u00e9 des dislocations survient plus t\u00f4t, ce qui s&#8217;explique par les vitesses tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9es que peut atteindre les dislocations dans les piliers microscopiques o\u00f9 la densit\u00e9 de dislocations mobile est souvent limit\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;objectif principal de ce projet \u00e9tait&nbsp;de r\u00e9aliser une avanc\u00e9e dans le domaine de la microm\u00e9canique \u00e0 haute vitesse de d\u00e9formation. Gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement des essais de compression de micropiliers \u00e0 haute vitesse de d\u00e9formation, une investigation de la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la vitesse de d\u00e9formation a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux avec des essais allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 1000 s^{-1}. Les investigations ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu&#8217;aux petites \u00e9chelles et \u00e0 haute vitesse de d\u00e9formation, le comportement des mat\u00e9riaux peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de ce qui est connu \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle macroscopique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la deuxi\u00e8me partie du projet, nous avons propos\u00e9 une nouvelle g\u00e9om\u00e9trie de pilier pour les essais \u00e0 des plus hautes vitesses de d\u00e9formation. H\u00e9rit\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9chantillon macroscopique &#8220;Shear compression specimen&#8221;, un sp\u00e9cimen de microcisaillement a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et valid\u00e9 sur la silice et le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium amorphe. Ce sp\u00e9cimen a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour \u00eatre usinable par FIB (Focused Ion Beam) et facilement testable sur des dispositifs microm\u00e9caniques standards.
