Les recherches du LGF couvrent un domaine large et continu, allant des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d&#8217;\u00e9laboration des constituants \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires aux proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de transformation des mat\u00e9riaux (massifs ou divis\u00e9s) et des produits, et de la physico-chimie des interactions entre les mat\u00e9riaux et leur environnement \u00e0 la m\u00e9canique des structures, avec une approche multi-\u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019activit\u00e9 de recherche LGF pourrait \u00eatre r\u00e9sum\u00e9e par\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Durabilit\u00e9 et efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des composants et de l\u2019usine\u00a0du grain \u00e0 l\u2019usine \/ Du mat\u00e9riau au composant<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le laboratoire pr\u00e9sente un bon \u00e9quilibre entre les approches exp\u00e9rimentales et num\u00e9riques, dont le r\u00f4le est de proposer une mod\u00e9lisation physique et pr\u00e9dictive des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes analys\u00e9s. On assiste \u00e0 une mont\u00e9e en puissance du num\u00e9rique avec le d\u00e9veloppement des \u00ab jumeaux num\u00e9riques \u00bb ainsi que la mise en \u0153uvre de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s dont ceux de fabrication additive m\u00e9talliques. Dans ce contexte le LGF, au sein de Mines Saint-\u00c9tienne est partenaire d\u2019INITIATIVE 3D.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css_animation=&#8221;fadeIn&#8221; css_animation_delay=&#8221;0.5&#8243;]<h2 class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-bottom-border-w-color vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl wpex-mb-15 wpex-border-b-2 wpex-border-solid wpex-border-main\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block wpex-relative wpex-pb-5 wpex-border-b-2 wpex-border-solid wpex-border-accent\">Comp\u00e9tences du LGF en fabrication additive m\u00e9tallique<\/span><\/h2>[vc_column_text]\n<p>Le LGF am\u00e8ne ses comp\u00e9tences en :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>m\u00e9tallurgie d\u2019\u00e9laboration et de transformation ;<\/li>\n<li>tenue en service des mat\u00e9riaux en ambiance s\u00e9v\u00e8re ;<\/li>\n<li>poudre : comportement physique m\u00e9canique, chimique et cycle de vie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plusieurs travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s sur l\u2019\u00e9laboration et la caract\u00e9risation fines de nouveaux alliages d\u2019aluminium (avec les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s THALES et SAFRAN) et d\u2019aciers (avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 MICHELIN) pour les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fusion sur lit de poudres (SLM) et ont conduit \u00e0 plusieurs d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de brevets.<\/p>\n<p>Ces travaux sont men\u00e9s en commun avec les acteurs d\u2019INITIATIVE 3D et ont amen\u00e9 au lancement du projet AEROPRINT avec les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s DASSAUT AVIATION, CONSTELLIUM et AddUP notamment. Le cycle de vie complet de la poudre est \u00e9tudi\u00e9 dans ce contexte avec une implication forte des \u00e9quipes travaillant sur les poudres et l\u2019oxydation des m\u00e9taux.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, en collaboration avec INITIATIVE 3D, Mines Saint-\u00c9tienne participe \u00e0 un plan d\u2019investissement sur la technologie de fabrication g\u00e9n\u00e9rative \u00e0 partir d&#8217;un fil m\u00e9tallique, WAAM et am\u00e8nera ses comp\u00e9tences d\u2019\u00e9laboration de mat\u00e9riaux et de transformations (laminage des fils notamment) et d\u2019analyse au service de projets communs \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle r\u00e9gionale, Nationale et Europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;appear&#8221;
