HYPASS will be highly active and dynamic in its effort to disseminate and exploit the project results via the following mechanisms:
- Peer-review, scientific publications – technical publications on the HYPASS project will be presented in trade and scientific journals with high “Impact Factors” (IF) [Hydrometallurgy, Waste Management, Journal of cleaner production, etc.];
- Project newsletter – an electronic technical newsletter will be published twice yearly. It will be posted on the project website and will be distributed to appropriate stakeholders. These mailing lists will first consist of partner contacts but will rapidly expand during the project via contacts made with social media, at conferences and direct communication made with appropriate industrial associations. The newsletter will describe the research progress taking care to protect partners “Intellectual Property Rights” (IPR);
- Tradeshows and conferences – project researchers will attend 1-2 tradeshows or conferences a year. Tradeshows will give the opportunity to make relevant industrial contacts and expand the potential for exploitation of the results. Scientific conferences will permit increased visibility, diffusion of the technical results and exchange of ideas with peers. Targets events will include those focused on the steelmaking sector (e.g., AFOCO technical days, etc.) as well as more general events addressing mineral processing (e.g., Minerals Engineering Conference, International Mineral Processing, etc.);
- Workshop – a Workshop will be organized at the end of the project in tandem with the final project meeting.
All beneficiaries will present their results and other researchers (outside of HYPASS, but working on related topics) as well as relevant industry will also be invited to participate.
