Application aux mod\u00e8les de submersion marine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9but de th\u00e8se : <\/strong>2017<strong><br \/>\nFin de th\u00e8se : <\/strong>2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 :<\/strong> Cette th\u00e8se est motiv\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9valuation des risques de submersions marines. On consid\u00e8re les mod\u00e8les hydrodynamiques num\u00e9riques d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par le BRGM et la CCR. La sortie de ces simulateurs est une carte d\u2019inondation.\u00a0\u00a0L\u2019objectif est de r\u00e9aliser une analyse de sensibilit\u00e9 (AS) afin de mesurer et de hi\u00e9rarchiser l\u2019influence des param\u00e8tres d\u2019entr\u00e9s sur la sortie. Afin de r\u00e9duire le temps de calcul des mod\u00e8les et la dimension de la sortie spatiale, on propose d\u2019utiliser l\u2019ACP fonctionnelle (ACPF). La sortie est d\u00e9compos\u00e9e dans une base de fonctions, adapt\u00e9e pour traiter les variations locales, telle que les ondelettes ou les B-splines. Une ACP avec une m\u00e9trique ad-hoc est appliqu\u00e9e aux coefficients les plus importants, selon un crit\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9nergie apr\u00e8s orthonormalisation de la base, ou directement sur la base originale avec une approche de r\u00e9gression p\u00e9nalis\u00e9e. Des m\u00e9ta-mod\u00e8les (comme le krigeage) sont construits sur les premi\u00e8res composantes principales, sur lesquels peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e l\u2019AS. Comme r\u00e9sultat compl\u00e9mentaire, une formule analytique est obtenue pour les indices de sensibilit\u00e9 bas\u00e9s sur la variance, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisant celle connue pour des bases orthonorm\u00e9es. L\u2019ensemble des travaux a \u00e9t\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 un cas analytique et deux cas de submersion marine, sur lesquels des gains en pr\u00e9cision et en temps de calculs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenus. Un package R a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 permettant la diffusion des travaux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract :\u00a0<\/strong>Motivated by the risk assessment of coastal flooding, the numerical hydrodynamic models of the BRGM and the CCR are considered. Their outputs are flood maps. The aim is to perform a sensitivity analysis (SA) to quantify and hierarchize the influence of the input parameters on the output. The application of functional PCA (FPCA) is proposed to reduce both computation time and spatial output dimension. The output is decomposed on a basis of functions designed to handle local variations, such as wavelets or B-splines. PCA with an ad-hoc metric is applied on the most important coefficients, according to an energy criterion after basis orthonormalization, or on the initial basis with a penalized regression approach. Fast-to-evaluate metamodels (such as Kriging) are built on the first principal components, on which SA can be done. As a by-product, we obtain analytical formulas for variance-based sensitivity indices, generalizing a known formula assuming the orthonormality of basis functions. The whole methodology is applied to an analytical case and two coastal flooding cases. Gains in accuracy and computation time have been obtained.
