l\u2019\u00e9volution d\u2019un objet&nbsp; spatio-temporel Aide \u00e0 analyser le r\u00e9sultat Visualise \u00e0 la fois l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019objet d\u2019\u00e9tude et&nbsp; des indicateurs choisis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trouver les bonnes politiques de gestion durable des ressources territoriales n\u00e9cessite des outils d\u2019aide \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision permettant de prendre en compte les dynamiques des territoires consid\u00e9r\u00e9s et d\u2019ajuster les param\u00e8tres des strat\u00e9gies collectives de r\u00e9gulation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/territoire.emse.fr\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mines-stetienne.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Capture-wb.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5765\" style=\"width:590px;height:296px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>De tels outils doivent pouvoir s\u2019adapter \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 des domaines concern\u00e9s en permettant l\u2019\u00e9laboration dynamique d\u2019une cha\u00eene de traitement allant du recueil de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 la visualisation de l\u2019espace des alternatives. Dans ce cadre, la<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/territoire.emse.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">plateforme Territoire<\/a><\/strong> a pour objectif de servir de support \u00e0 la fois technique et promotionnel des travaux de l\u2019institut Henri Fayol concernant la gestion durable des territoires. De nouveaux outils d\u2019aide \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision comme la cartographie des potentiels \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques des territoires, ou la logistique urbaine pourront \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s \u00e0 partir&nbsp; des services et des donn\u00e9es propos\u00e9s par la plateforme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"coordination-de-la-plateforme-territoire\">Participation \u00e0 la Plateforme \u00ab\u00a0Maq&rsquo;It\u00a0\u00bb<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La&nbsp;<strong>plateforme Maq\u2019It<\/strong>&nbsp;propose un environnement robotique et logiciel con\u00e7u et dimensionn\u00e9 pour permettre d\u2019<strong>exp\u00e9rimenter<\/strong>, d\u2019<strong>\u00e9tudier<\/strong>&nbsp;et de&nbsp;<strong>former<\/strong>&nbsp;aux probl\u00e9matiques de l\u2019industrie et des territoires du futur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette plateforme s\u2019articule autour de th\u00e9matiques de recherche telles que : l\u2019intelligence artificielle, l\u2019interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, les mod\u00e8les de connaissance, le web des objets, des syst\u00e8mes multi-agents, pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des probl\u00e9matiques de : logistique, mobilit\u00e9 intelligente, transitique dans une optique de&nbsp;<strong>transition num\u00e9rique, \u00e9cologique et industrielle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/maqit.wp.imt.fr\/files\/2022\/09\/maqit-003-768x436.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:-119px;height:-67px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Maq\u2019It<\/strong>&nbsp;compl\u00e8te les plateformes It\u2019m Factory et Territoire et accompagne les chercheurs, les enseignants et les ing\u00e9nieurs dans leurs d\u00e9marches de valorisation de leurs travaux de recherche et de formation. spatial&nbsp;en attirant les meilleurs talents, technologies et ressources des acteurs de la recherche et de l\u2019industrie de classe mondiale en Europe. &nbsp;ENFIELD m\u00e8nera des activit\u00e9s de recherche de haut niveau en synchronisation avec les d\u00e9fis industriels et soci\u00e9taux afin de renforcer la position concurrentielle de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne dans le domaine de Ce cadre industriel manufacturier moderne est organis\u00e9 en trois couches : (i) couche physique : acc\u00e8s au syst\u00e8me physique, (ii) couche de connaissances : informations permettant de g\u00e9rer et de contr\u00f4ler les processus industriels, et (iii) couche d&rsquo;application : environnement permettant d&rsquo;automatiser ces processus industriels. NAIMAN se concentre sur les deux derni\u00e8res couches, en supposant que les syst\u00e8mes physiques h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes de la couche physique sont accessibles via une interface uniforme. Dans cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me complexe, l&rsquo;automatisation des processus industriels est abord\u00e9e par l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;agents autonomes et intelligents qui interagissent entre eux sur la couche application. Dans la couche de connaissances, nous ciblons les connaissances du domaine repr\u00e9sentant les aspects normatifs (c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire les normes et les sanctions) qui r\u00e9gissent ces environnements et processus industriels. Les normes repr\u00e9sentent le comportement attendu des agents. Nous pensons qu&rsquo;elles constituent un concept riche et flexible pour la r\u00e9gulation des syst\u00e8mes manufacturiers. Les sanctions, en tant que r\u00e9actions \u00e0 toute violation ou conformit\u00e9 \u00e0 ces comportements attendus, sont utilis\u00e9es pour \u00e9quilibrer l&rsquo;autonomie des agents et le contr\u00f4le du syst\u00e8me de fabrication global. La couche de connaissances permet aux agents de raisonner sur les capacit\u00e9s de production ainsi que sur les r\u00e9glementations pour d\u00e9cider comment et o\u00f9 effectuer leurs t\u00e2ches de production. La repr\u00e9sentation normative explicite et le raisonnement correspondant permettent aux agents \u00e0 la fois d&rsquo;adapter l&rsquo;ex\u00e9cution des processus industriels \u00e0 des situations et conditions inattendues, et d&rsquo;exprimer de mani\u00e8re transparente et intelligible leurs d\u00e9cisions \u00e0 un op\u00e9rateur humain. L&rsquo;objectif principal du projet est donc de d\u00e9velopper des technologies d\u00e9montr\u00e9es sur des plates-formes industrielles qui permettent aux agents de fonctionner dans des environnements industriels h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes et dynamiques et de raisonner sur des aspects normatifs afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la flexibilit\u00e9, la r\u00e9silience, la fiabilit\u00e9 et la durabilit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes manufacturiers.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>The digital transformation of manufacturing industries provides a nurturing environment for the adoption of more autonomous and (self-)adaptive technologies that can quickly and flexibly respond to endogenous and exogenous changes, while being transparent and complying with sustainable regulations. This modern manufacturing industrial setting is organised in three layers: (i) physical layer: access to the physical system, (ii) knowledge layer: information to manage and control the industrial processes, and (iii) application layer: an environment for automating these industrial processes. NAIMAN focuses on the last two layers, assuming that the heterogeneous physical systems on the physical layer are accessible via a uniform interface. In this complex ecosystem, industrial processes automation is tackled with the use of autonomous and intelligent agents that interact with each other on the application layer. In the knowledge layer, we target the domain knowledge representing the normative aspects (i.e., norms and sanctions) regulating these industrial settings and processes. Norms represent the expected agents&rsquo; behaviour. We advocate that they are a rich and flexible concept for regulating manufacturing systems. Sanctions as reactions to any violation of or compliance with these expected behaviours are used to balance the agents&rsquo; autonomy and the overall manufacturing system&rsquo;s control. The knowledge layer allows agents to reason about the production capabilities and capacities together with regulations to decide how and where to carry out their production tasks. The explicit normative representation and reasoning enable agents to both adapt the execution of industrial processes to unexpected situations and conditions, and to transparently and intelligibly express their decisions to an human operator. The ever-growing capabilities of devices allow to imagine new architectures including them as first class citizens. New added-value applications can then be envisioned in smart agriculture, smart buildings, smart cities, energy and water management, e-health and ageing well&#8230; The Web of Things (WoT) allows to describe the devices semantics, bridging the gap between the different domain and service descriptions. In today WoT architectures, physical devices can be located at distance from systems that perform reasoning. A centralised approach does not take advantage of the devices capabilities and induces suboptimal data transfers as well as server overload. Besides, many devices are now smart enough to discover each other, exchange data, and collectively make decisions.<\/p>\n<p>CoSWoT objectives are to propose a distributed WoT-enabled software architecture embedded on constrained devices with two main characteristics: (1) it will use ontologies to specify declaratively the application logic of devices and the semantics of the exchanged messages; (2) it will add reasoning functionalities to devices, so as to distribute processing tasks among them. Doing so, the development of applications including devices of the WoT will be highly simplified: <strong>our platform will enable the development and execution of intelligent and decentralised smart WoT applications despite the heterogeneity of devices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In CoSWoT, WoT applications will rely on a platform hosting the base services. Besides traditional services, it will host extensions that correspond to two scientific barriers:<\/p>\n<p>(1) the <strong>use of ontologies as a generalised model for exchanges between heterogeneous devices<\/strong>. A joint statement from AIOTI WG3, IEEE P2413, oneM2M, W3C positions ontologies as key enablers for semantic interoperability on the WoT. However research questions remain concerning (i) the adequation of existing ontologies to the target application domains; (ii) the applicability of theoretical principles developed in a variety of protocols and standards, in the context of data streams; (iii) the discovery of heterogeneous devices, their services and how to solicit them.<\/p>\n<p>(2) <strong>distributed and embedded incremental reasoning<\/strong>. Devices become powerful enough to offer storage and processing; new architectures appear, based on edge computing including devices such as sensors and actuators. The data streams provided by sensors require to perform incremental reasoning tasks. Research questions remain on (i) how to embed reasoning in devices with various capacities, it requires specific optimisations; (ii) how to efficiently distribute reasoning tasks among devices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smart agriculture<\/strong> is a typical application domain of such WoT architectures, where the surveillance of cultivated fields requires various sensors that push streaming data, which must be collected and reasoned upon to take decisions executed by actuators. <strong>Smart buildings<\/strong> is another such typical application domain where added-value application services involve other verticals such as energy management, e-health, or ageing well. Therefore especially when machines interact with humans, we need to ensure that they do not harm us\/them or threaten our\/their autonomy, especially decision autonomy. Consequently the question of an ethical regulation or control of such autonomous agents is raised and has been discussed by several authors such as Wallach and Allen. As stated by Picard, the greater the freedom of a machine, the more it will need moral standards.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s consider to motivate this problematic the trolley and footbridge dilemmas. Assume that a runaway trolley is hurtling down a track towards five people, whereas there is a single person on a neighbouring track, and two people (a thin one and a fat one) on a footbridge under which the trolley will pass. The trolley dilemma is as follows: should the driver change tracks, killing one to save five? The footbridge dilemma is: should the thin man push the fat man over the footbridge to suddenly stop the trolley? More generally, both dilemmas raise the question: considering an agent A that can make a decision that would benefit many other agents but, in doing so, an agent B would be unfairly harmed, under what circumstances would it be moral for agent A to violate agent B\u2019s rights in order to benefit the group?<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the eThicAa project is twofold:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"arabic\">\n<li>\n<p>definition of what should be a moral autonomous agent and a system of moral autonomous agents<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>definition and resolution of ethical conflicts that could occur 1) inside one moral agent, 2) between one moral agent and the (moral) rules of the system it belongs to, 3) between one moral agent and a human operator or user, 4) between several artificial (moral) agents including or not human agents.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ethical conflicts are characterized by the fact that there is no \u201cgood\u201d way to solve them. Nevertheless when a decision must be made it should be an informed decision based on an assessment of the arguments and values at stake. When several agents are involved this may result in one agent taking over the (decision or action) authority from the others.<\/p>\n<p>eThicAa proposes to study the four cases of ethical conflicts that could occur in moral autonomous agents or between moral autonomous agents and humans on two chosen applicative domains: robotics and privacy management. For instance, in the robotic domain, eThicAa should be able to manage the ethical conflicts between one artificial agent and one human operator. To this end, we will consider a UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) jointly operated by a human operator and an artificial agent. Assuming that the UAV is in an emergency situation and must be crashed, the only two options being either very near the operator\u2019s headquarters (where many operator\u2019s colleagues work) or very near a small village, which decisions must be made by the autonomous agent?<\/p>\n<p>The case of privacy management will consider ethical conflicts between multiple artificial agents and human users, we will consider a social network where the privacy policies of the accounts owned by humans are controlled by moral autonomous agents. Assuming that two users feud and broadcast some private data about the other one in a common circle of friends, what should be the privacy policy of the society of agents including the agents owned by those feuding users?<\/p>\n<p>From the implementation and experimentation of those scenarios, eThicAa aims at providing a formal representation of ethical conflicts and of the objects on which they are about. The project also aims at designing explanation algorithms for the human user and autonomous agents\u2019 arguments and values to make informed ethical decisions. Real time updates allow one to consider the development of new services beyond the traditional use of open data, e.g., for logging evolution and conducting a posteriori analysis. We can therefore contemplate the creation of an ecosystem of smart open urban services. While publishing sensor data via an open data platform, such as Grand Lyon\u2019s \u201cSmart Data\u201d platform, is a first step towards our goal, it is now necessary to propose solutions to facilitate uses and usages of real time open data. As a matter of fact, these data are practically difficult to understand, find and eventually exploit. To this aim, we combine a social analysis of actor expectations, requirements and practices, with a technological and theoretical expertise in online data and knowledge processing and engineering. The social component of our proposal will ensure a better understanding of expectations and needs of various categories of real time open data users. The technological component is based on existing Semantic Web technologies as well as stream processing techniques. This will expectedly result in enriching and publishing stream data to an open platform, taking into account the new paradigm of linked data, stream data and reasoning. This major shift will be achieved by building new ontologies related to smart cities when necessary as well as a formalism for querying and combining streams in such a context. Additionally, by combing our work in the social and technological domains, we will define search and browsing capabilities that we will implement according to the identified expectations and needs. Finally, when those tools will be effectively developed, we will show their utility by providing a demo application that uses them and further study the usage scenarios.
